Since 1985, I’ve been a computer enthusiast, taking apart a lot of technology and working out how it works.

History

Yes, you know the answer; taking everything apart when I was a kid meant it all helped, so now I know how to put it all together again, but it means I’ve been now more than 25 years fixing all manner of technology.

Qualifications:

BSC Hons Degree in Computing for Real-Time systems

Experience:

25 years of working within Car Manufacturing Automation then Mobile Telecommunications

I have a deep affinity to what we now call retro computing, with rose-tinted glasses on for the ZX Spectrum and an active developer on the ZX Spectrum Next platform.

We’re behind the idea of the right to repair, rather than send everything to a landfill and buy new you can save money as we can always find a way to make more efficient use, repair, or upgrade and ensure everything is built to last.

I work to a no-fix no fee policy with a 120-day warranty for any work completed.

All work will be worked out on a fixed price estimate* which will be given before any work started.
